Last weekend Marguerite and myself had a fantastic time in Glasgow with Karen and her team at Anne Priscilla www.annepriscilla.co.uk Karen treated us to dinner on Friday night at a fantastic city centre restaurant called The Western Club and we had a great time catching up with all the gossip and taking shop all evening.
Not only is Karen’s boutique beautiful, airy and welcoming also but slap in the middle of one of the most happening cities in the UK. It just happens that a dear friend of ours, photographer Robert Lawler www.robertlawler.co.uk has just relocated to the dear green place so we gave him a call and asked if he would come into the store on the day and do some reportage of the designer day. After doing some shots in the store of some of our brides to be with their friends and families Karen remarked that it was such a beautiful day that we should perhaps do some impromptu shots outside in the middle of the city. Robert took up the challenge and we roped in gorgeous Anne Priscilla consultant/model Ashleigh and made our way onto the streets of Glasgow for an off the cuff photo shoot. The light was wonderful and the spontaneity was captured magically by Robert in these shots even if we had a job dodging the traffic and some bemused onlookers. The dresses pictured in the street shots are from our Porcelain collection; Isabella, with beaded bodice and tulle skirt, Bridgitte in sheer organza with all over beading and our MiaMia True Romance , Fionn with embroidered flowers and champagne coloured slip. These gowns have a translucent ethereal quality which was perfect for this early spring sunshine. The dresses are available form Anne Priscilla and other Alan Hannah and MiaMia stockist around the country. For further details call us or email on firstname.lastname@example.org. The other dresses featured in store are Lulu in crepe from Alan Hannah Porcelain and Cecilia in silk satin from MiaMia True Romance.
